And so it begins...

Let me just keep it real for a minute.

Ever sit at your computer, working away at your 'To-Do list' and find yourself drifting in and out of daydreams...all of which seem to include airplanes, foreign countries and a whole lot of wandering?

Yeah...me too.

While the majority of my friends are married with kids, laying down roots for a beautiful, secure life, I sit antsy as HECK to get up outta here.  The past few years have been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. I went from a comfortable, stable life in Toronto to quitting my job and starting all over again to pursue my dreams, all the while moving thousands of miles away from home to do so.  Long story short, despite the ups and downs, the constant on-the-go lifestyle that fueled me and crossing many things off my bucket list, the travel bug was one I couldn't shake. When my friends were traveling the world in their 20s, I was focussed on my career and nothing else.  Fast forward to my 30s and I've finally decided to get the bug out of my system.  Doctor's orders.

Who says you can't travel uninhibitedly in your 30s?

No boss.
No husband.
No kids.
No worries!

2014 is my year to get a lot of mileage under my belt. With trip to Thailand and Hong Kong already in the books, Europe is next.  For 6 weeks. Alone.

And no, I'm not scared.  I'm actually pretty effin' pumped.

This blog will be a simple way to keep all of you up to date with my adventures and maybe just maaaaaybe, inspire some of you to really put yourself first and do something you've been wanting to, whether that be travel or anything else......

It's never too late.
